Introducing a quick, simple dish to add something new on your table. Its Aloo Chawli Tikki.You can either cook it for breakfast and enjoy it during tea time. You can even pack them for your kids tiffin.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 cup boiled Chawli beans ( black eyed beans)
  2. 1 Boiled and mashed potato
  3. 2 bread slices
  4. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  7. Oil for frying

METHOD

  1. In a grinder  jar add boiled Chawli beans and bread slices
  2. Grind and mix well
  3. To this mixture add boiled potato , salt turmeric powder and chili powder
  4. Mix well and make small round tikkis from it
  5. Fry the tikkis on medium flame till golden and crispy
  6. Serve along with green chutney and ketchup.
