Daliya Idli

Daliya idli is made from broken wheat also called as lapsi.Try this dish for breakfast or you can even pack it in your tiffin

INGREDIENTS

1)  2 Bowls of daliya( lapsi)

2) 1 Bowl of rawa

3) 1 Bowl of boiled boiled green peas

4) 1/2 Bowl of chopped corriander

5)  1 teaspoon chilli ginger paste

6) 1 teaspoon fruit salt(eno)

7) 1 tablespoon curd ( dahi)

8) 3 teaspoon oil

9) 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

10) 5/6 curry leaves

11)  Salt as per taste

METHOD

1) In a vessel soak two bowls of daliya in a glass of water

2) Soak it for 3 hours

3) Add one bowl of rawa(semolina) to it and a glass of water

4) Let it rest for 10 minutes

5) Blend the mixture using a blender

6) Add ginger chiil paste, eno, curd, salt, boiled green peas and corriander to it

7) Heat oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it

8) Pour in Idli mould and steam for 7 minutes

9) Serve with Chutney
