During winters the weather is chilling cold and hence our body needs extra care. Today  I am going to give you a recipe that is usually used during winters to protect us from the cold weather.Sonth Pipramul ni goli is a mix of ginger, piprimul jaggery, almonds and ghee. It is useful to cure joint pains and gastric issues. One goli a day in the morning is advisable

Pipramul is  also called as Ganthoda
Ganthoda is a powder made from the root of a long pepper. This powder is known by several other names, which include pipramul and peepramul; however, ganthoda is a word native to India. Ganthoda powder mixed with ginger powder and jaggery is a remedy for gastric discomfort and joint pain. Ganthoda powder is used in many Indian recipes

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 cup sonth( dry ginger powder)
  2. 1/2 cup Pipramul powder
  3. 20 almonds
  4. 1/2 cup ghee
  5. 1 cup jaggery

METHOD

  1. In a bowl add 1 cup sonth ( dry ginger powder)
  2. Add 1/2 cup pipramul powder
  3. Grind about 20 almonds to make almond powder
  4. Add almond powder to it and mix it all well
  5. Heat 1/2 cup pure ghee on a low flame
  6. Add 1 cup jaggery to the ghee and mix.
  7. Heat till jaggery melts
  8. Switch off the gas
  9. Add jaggery ghee mixture to the sonth pipramul mixture.
  10. Mix everything well
  11. Shape round ladoos/ golis of it
  12. Store it in airtight container
  13. Eat one daily in the morning till winters last
