CORN PAKODA MAKKAI BHAJJI

Lets learn today, a crispy easy pakoda recipe – Corn Pakoda. I first tasted this dish at Lonavala and it was super yummy. You can also try my methi pakoda recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 cup Boiled sweet corn
  2. 1/2 cup Chopped onion greens
  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  4. 2 cups Gram flour ( besan)
  5. 1/2 cup Rice flour
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  7. 3/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon chili ginger paste
  9. 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Oil for frying

METHOD

  1. In a mixing bowl add the gram flour ( besan)
  2. To this add the rice flour
  3. Add salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, chilli powder, chilli ginger paste, onions and mix it all
  4. Add little water and make a batter
  5. Fry small portions in hot oil  on medium flame
  6.  Fry till golden and crispy
  7. Serve with ketchup and green chutney
